問題の傾向としては、大きく分けて以下の3つのパターンが見られます。
1.「 AとBとはどっちが好きですか？」パターン
このタイプの問題では、2つの選択肢から自分が好きなものを選び、その理由を述べることが求められます。例えば、「リンゴとオレンジ、どちらが好きですか？その理由を２つ教えてください。」「夏と冬、どちらが好きですか？その理由を２つ教えてください。」などです。
2. 〇〇のとき、あなたは何をしますか？何をするのが好きですか？パターン
このタイプの問題では、特定の時間やシチュエーションについて、自分が何をするか、または何を好むかを述べることが求められます。例えば、「夏休みには何をしますか？その理由を教えてください。」
3. あなたは〇〇をするのがが好きですか？パターン
このタイプの問題では、特定の行動や活動について自分が好きかどうか、そしてその理由を述べることが求められます。例えば、「あなたは本を読むのが好きですか？その理由を教えてください。」
対策
これらの問題を解くための基本的な対策は、自分の意見を明確に述べ、その理由を具体的に説明することです。また、語数の範囲内で適切な文法と語彙を用いて文章を構成する力も必要となります。
以下にそれぞれの問題パターンに対する具体的な対策を示します。
1. AとBとはどっちが好きパターン: 事前に出題されそうな問題に関して自分の好みや趣味について考えておき、その理由を具体的に説明できるように準備しておきましょう。たとえば、リンゴを選んだ場合、それが好きな理由として「甘さ」と「栄養価の高さ」を挙げることができます。
2. 〇〇ときには何をしますか？何をするのが好きですか？パターン: 自分の日常的な活動や特定の時期の過ごし方について、具体的かつ詳細な説明を準備しておきましょう。また、それが好きな理由も合わせて考えておくことが大切です。例えば、「夏休みにはビーチで泳ぐことが好きです。その理由は、涼しさと海の美しさを同時に楽しむことができるからです」と答えることができます。
3. あなたは〇〇をするのがが好きですか？パターン: さまざまな活動について、その活動を好きな理由を具体的に考えておきましょう。例えば、「本を読むのが好きです。その理由は、新しい知識を得られることと、物語に没頭することができるからです」と答えることができます。
